Brian started homebrewing circa 2005 and quickly fell in love with the idea of opening his own brewery. In 2011 Brian opened Beer Engine, a tiny pub in Danville, Ky, which led to opening Monnik in Louisville in 2015. He now oversees operations at our brewpub. Brian likes reading, punk music and his family.
